Business Development Manager

  • Attracting new clients by innovating and overseeing the Business Development and Sales process for the business
  • Growing business through the development of new leads and new contacts
  • Identifying and researching opportunities that come up in new and existing markets
  • Preparing and delivering pitches and presentations to potential new clients
  • Combining efforts and fostering a collaborative environment within the business as a whole
  • Communicating with clients to understand their needs and offer solutions to their problems
  • Creating positive, long-lasting relationships with current and potential clients
  • Running outbound campaigns (phone calls, emails, etc.) to create sales opportunities
  • Coordination with Management to provide feedback from clients
  • Developing and presenting proposals customized for each client’s specific business needs
  • Ensuring excellent customer service through regular client follow up
  • Developing rapport with key decision makers
  • Translating proposals into ready-to-sign contracts
  • Owning the sales lifecycle and have knowledge on how to sell dedicated developers on projects, e.g. dedicated developer, freelancer, remote developer
  • Stay up to date with the business development processes of the other companies

Requirements & Skills

  • Experience: 3-4 Years
  • Qualification: MBA Marketing or relevant qualification
  • Proven work experience as business development manager, sales executive or a relevant role in software development
  • Strong customer service and business development skills for generating leads
  • Ability to work on bidding platforms like Upwork, Fiverr etc. and engage potential clients
  • Advanced proposal writing, presentation and persuasive skills
  • Excellent leadership and teamwork skills
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills for building meaningful relationships with clients
  • Extensive knowledge of productivity tools and software
  • Attention to detail and organization skills for honing in on each necessary task
  • Advanced decision-making and problem-solving skills
